We’re excited to announce that we’re on the hunt for five individuals to help us conduct some important market research.
We’re recruiting Social Spenders, who will be paid to buy items from adverts they see on their social media accounts, such as Instagram and Facebook. You can apply through this form.
Our new Social Spenders will ultimately help us determine which social media platforms best deliver ads to target audiences, and drive the all important traffic that results in sales.
We are always looking to expand our knowledge of social advertising, a key tool many of our customers use their funds for to grow their businesses, and so we plan to share the data collected by our Social Spenders with the companies we fund to help them make better marketing decisions.
As a Social Spender you will be paid £70 a day (on a freelance contract) to buy any products of personal interest from adverts served to you on social media platforms over one month, with a set budget of up to £1,500 spending money.
You will be required to track every ad you see, documenting the type of ad, the platform it appeared on, the date and time you saw it and whether you bought it or not. As a Social Spender you will also be asked to monitor how long you are on each platform before an ad appears and how many times you saw the ad before you decided to buy.
We can confirm that Social Spenders will be allowed to keep all items they purchase over the one-month contract period. Therefore we’d like to stress that successful candidates must only buy items they see via adverts on their social media. To ensure this, Social Spenders are required to document and prove each purchase made via videos and images, as well as a written report detailing their experience.
The role requires a minimum of 2.5 hours of work a week, spending at least 30 minutes on each social media platform a day, five days a week, to ensure each platform is being monitored fairly.
To guarantee our results are representative across the UK, we are looking to recruit applicants of varying age groups and gender.
